RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am currently working on the system of Gadolinium doped GaN. I am mainly interested in calculating the electronic structural properties and also the magnetic properties, since Gadolinium shows ferromagnetism.
I've also previously worked on some chalcopyrite semiconductors and their alloys and studied their band gap bowing and optical properties.
In doing all these calculations I've used the linear muffin tin orbital method in either the Atomic sphere approximation or the full potential approximation.
